ST. Scarpe Nike Scontate On Line . PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Nyjer Morgan used his speed to get two key infield hits early in the game. His rare long ball provided an important late run. Morgan and Michael Bourn both drove in two runs, Josh Tomlin won his second straight start and the Cleveland Indians beat the Tampa Bay Rays 6-5 on Sunday. "He always plays with energy," Indians manager Terry Francona said about Morgan. "We were looking for a way to get him in there today and Im glad we did." Morgan had an RBI infield single that rolled to a stop near the line between home and third before Bourn hit a two-run double as the Indians took a 3-1 lead in the second. Morgan also hit his first major league homer since July 30, 2012, an eighth-inning solo shot that made it 6-2. "I had to get something out of the infield today," a smiling Morgan said. Tomlin (2-0), who pitched just once in the big leagues last season after right elbow surgery in 2012, allowed two runs and six hits over six innings in his second outing this year. "The guys made the plays in the outfield and the infield, and thats the reason I won a game," Tomlin said. Cleveland took two of three in the series after entering with a seven-game road skid. "This is a tough place to play," Francona said. "Finding a way to beat them here is great. Ive sat in this chair too many times and been miserable." Matt Joyce homered and had two RBIs for the Rays, who went 1-5 on their homestand. Chris Archer (2-2) gave up four runs and eight hits in five-plus innings. "I think very simply put, were not playing the calibre of baseball right now that is a winning calibre of baseball," Rays third baseman Evan Longoria said. A three-run eighth pulled the Rays to 6-5. Ben Zobrist scored the first run in the inning when reliever Marc Rzepczynski made an errant throw to second on what could have been an inning-ending double play. Cody Allen allowed Wil Myers RBI single and hit Desmond Jennings with a pitch to load the bases. Yunel Escobar hit a sacrifice fly. "I had plenty of time. ... I rushed it," Rzepczynski said. "When I get those, I get super excited. Throw better sinkers to second than I do home sometimes." Bryan Shaw pitched a perfect ninth in place of demoted closer John Axford for his second save. Yan Gomes hit a leadoff homer that chased Archer during a two-run sixth that gave Cleveland a 5-2 advantage. Morgan reached on a bunt single off Brad Boxberger when a call was overturned on replay. Morgan advanced on a balk and wild pitch, then scored the innings second run on Mike Aviles sacrifice fly. Joyce hit a first-inning solo homer off Tomlin. Joyce, who is 6 for 12 with two homers against the right-hander, had an RBI single in the fourth. Cleveland threatened in the first but Michael Brantley was thrown out trying to score on Carlos Santanas two-out double. Santana went 2 for 3 with two walks and increased his batting average 12 points to .148. Brantley extended his hitting streak to 11 games with a third-inning single. NOTES: Francona tweaked his rotation for a three-game series at Toronto. RHP Danny Salazar (1-3) had his start pushed back to Thursday from Tuesday so that RHP Justin Masterson (2-1) and RHP Corey Kluber (3-3) can pitch Tuesday and Wednesday on normal rest. ... Tampa Bay RHP Jeremy Hellickson (arthroscopic right elbow surgery) hopes to resume throwing curveballs during bullpen sessions in a week. ... Indians 1B Nick Swisher was given the option by Francona to have a day off and took it. ... Rays LHP Cesar Ramos (1-1) and Mariners RHP Felix Hernandez (3-1) are Monday nights scheduled starters in Seattle. ... With the Rays road trip theme being "Woodstock," manager Joe Maddon looked the part from the 1969 concert, wearing a long-hair wig, sun glasses and tie-dye shirt. Yeezy 350 Scontate . Grilli hasnt pitched since straining his left oblique in late April. Manager Clint Hurdle says the right-hander will make a couple of appearances in middle relief before the team determines whether to return Grilli to the back end of the bullpen. Air Max Plus Outlet . The right-hander pitched into the seventh inning and boosted Cincinnatis struggling offence by hitting a double and scoring as the Reds ended a seven-game losing streak by beating the Atlanta Braves 1-0 Saturday night.Dallas Stars 6, Winnipeg Jets 4 - Saturdays loss drops the Jets to a game below five hundred, both on the season overall and at home. It also extends the teams home winless skid to six. Their last win at MTS Centre was November 15 over Philadelphia. The Jets will play seven of the next 10 on the road, starting with a two-game trip -- Monday in Columbus and Tuesday in Buffalo (both games on TSN Jets, TSN Radio 1290). The Stars opened the scoring with Tyler Seguin getting his 16th; the goal coming off a bad line change by the Jets. Matt Halischuk with his third tied the game, with Mark Scheifele and Michael Frolik drawing assists. Scheifele now has seven points in his last 10 games, while Frolik has eight points in his last 11 games. Halischuk left the game later in the first with an upper-body injury. Initial indication is the injury is more than day-to-day. But the game did not stay tied for long. As was the case all game, one goal was quickly followed by another and 4:12 later Valeri Nuchushkin, the Stars 18-year-old rookie, made a great move on Ondrej Pavelec to score his fifth. A neutral zone turnover by the Jets contributed to this goal. Stars outshot the Jets 11-8 in the first. After failing to score on a five-on-three early in the second (second time in as many games after going three for three on their first three two man advantages), the Jets power play clicked for the fourth time in three games with Blake Wheeler tying the game, Olli Jokinen and Dustin Byfuglien assisting on the goal. But 48 seconds later, Jamie Benn with his 8th regained the lead for the Stars. One minute and seven seconds later, the Jets tied the game again, and again it was Wheeler. It was his 11th of the year, his sixth in six games and back-to-back two-goal games. Bryan Little with the assist to give him 22 points in the last 22 games. Then the turning point. Anthony Peluso was given five for boarding and a game misconduct for a hit on Alex Goligoski. The hit was a little late and appeared to catch Goligoski in the numbers and will certainly be reviewed by the Department of Player Safety. The Jets played the remainder of the game with 10 forwards. The Stars scored twice on the major penalty with Benn and Seguin each getting their second goal of the game. Thee Jets dominated the early part of the period; at one point outshooting Dallas 14-4 but in the end the shots were 16-13 Jets. Yeezy 350 Italia. . To start the third, the Jets killed the remaining seconds on the power play then went to the attack and had a number of scoring chances but could not beat Kari Lehtonen. Then another defensive breakdown and Colton Sceviour on a breakaway beat Al Montoya to make it 6-3. Montoya replaced Pavelec to start the third. For Sceviour, it was his first NHL goal. Ollie Jokinen closed out the scoring with his 8th of the year with 1:41 left but the game would end 6-4. Jokinen has now surpassed his goal total from last year. Devin Setoguchi and Chris Thorburn drew assists on the goal. Shots in the third favoured the Jets 14-8 and 38-32 overall. Dallas is now 8-2-1 in their last 11 on the road. The Jets were again minus Evander Kane, although it appears he should be ready for Mondays game. Adam Pardy played in place of Keaton Ellberby. Pardy had been out the last eight. Statistically, Byfuglien lead in ice time at 27:49 and also in shots on goal with seven. He directed 15 shots at the Stars goal, with five being blocked and another three wide. Jokinen won 11 of 19 face-offs, Little nine of 16. Sergie Gonchar had a four-point game for Dallas and now has 48 points in 52 games against the Jets. Wheeler has eight points in seven career games against Dallas. Needless to say, it was a dejected Jets dressing room with comments ranging from "not acceptable" to "embarrassing." For coach Claude Noel, it was a "disappointing game and not only the result. Not a very intelligent game. Their first two goals came off bad line changes, the five minute major was costly, we wanted to contain their top line and we couldnt. It was a game we chased and every time we tied it, they would go ahead soon after. We didnt accomplish what we set out to do on this three game home stand (0-2-1). It was a step back today. I have not seen us play this way as a group for a long time. But we will regroup and start again." The Jets are now 3-11-3 inside their Central Division with the next three games against Eastern Conference teams (Columbus, Buffalo, Florida), although until this year Columbus was a Western Conference team.
