ST. Jordan Luplow Jersey . CATHARINES, Ont. - Connor McDavid keeps reliving the final seconds of winning world junior gold for Canada. Lawson Crouse remembers it like it was yesterday.More than two weeks after ending the nations gold-medal drought at the world junior championship, McDavid and Crouse are still glowing about it.You say you want to move on and stuff like that. You got to, McDavid said Tuesday before practice for the CHL Top Prospects game. But its hard to say you dont miss it. I miss it so much. I think it was two weeks (Monday) or whatever. I was talking with some of the guys yesterday and I miss it a lot. I miss that feeling and that energy and that buzz. The buzz of Air Canada Centre, loud with almost every fan wearing red-and-white, was intoxicating. It has taken time for McDavid to move past that night and the biggest accomplishment of his hockey-playing life. Its pretty common to have a little bit of a letdown after world juniors, McDavid said. Your game is so ramped up and everything is riding on a single play and everything like that. Then you come back to the OHL, which is still great hockey and all that, but its not the world juniors.A letdown by McDavids definition doesnt seem to be so bad. The projected No. 1 pick in Junes NHL draft had at least a point per game since going back to the Erie Otters, a total of five goals and four assists in five games.McDavid, who has 60 points in 23 games, called four points in two games an all right weekend.Crouse, whos also expected to be a top-10 pick, also had some difficulty mentally adjusting when he returned to the OHLs Kingston Frontenacs.I went back and I tried to do too much, and I sat down with Coach (Paul MacFarland) and I told him that, Crouse said. He just said, Well, just do the things that got you there. After two games I kind of got back to my normal self.Crouse has four goals and three assists in six games. Dont call it a letdown. Its not necessarily a letdown, but its a different style, he said. Youre playing with the top guys and then you go back and you kind of have to adapt to getting back to what got you there and doing the things well.McDavid and Crouse were at their best at the world juniors, as Canada went undefeated to win gold. Crouse said he learned from each teammate and opponent to improve his game.Just the level of play and how much you have to execute things to a tee, Crouse said. You have to compete every shift. I feel like I do that well. Obviously I just try to build off that game in and game out.McDavid picked up a big lesson, too, about what pressure situations are like.Just that experience of playing in the big games and winning and all that, McDavid said. To have that experience under my belt and some of those big-game moments and stuff like that, its good to take back with you. With 11 points in seven games, McDavid tied for the tournament lead in scoring. A few months ago he said it was up to this world junior team to restore the belief of Canadian hockey fans, but in the aftermath of doing that he didnt feel a weight come off his shoulders.People asked me if it was relief that I was feeling, but it was nothing but joy, McDavid said. Its not thinking, Oh we finally did it, or whatever. Its just youre so happy to finally have a dream come true and live that with those 22 guys and the staff and all that.___Follow @SWhyno on Twitter Graig Nettles Jersey . -- Arkansas didnt need a spectacular dunk to beat No. Dennis Eckersley Indians Jersey . - San Diego Padres centre fielder Cameron Maybin is going to be out two to three months after rupturing his left biceps tendon during a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday. https://www.cheapindiansonline.com/1118u-carlos-carrasco-jersey-indians.html . According the CSNBayArea.com, the 31-year-old suffered an ACL injury in his right knee on Friday when he collided with Anaheims Emerson Etem during a pre-season game.Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Thaddeus Young scored 22 points, and he hit the go-ahead free throw with 2.8 seconds remaining to boost the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 120-119 win over the Los Angeles Lakers in a battle between the teams with the worst records in the Western Conference. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 26 points, but he had a pair of costly free- throw misses, and his potential game-winning 3-pointer clanked off the rim and backboard as time expired. Lack of focus. Its as simple as that, Lakers coach Byron Scott said. We looked at them like they were inferior to us. We made some bonehead plays on both ends of the floor. Zach LaVine netted a career-best 28 points on 11-of-14 shooting, and Mo Williams scored 25 to go with 11 assists for the Timberwolves, who snapped a three-game skid and moved to 4-10 on the season. Wesley Johnson scored 19 and Jeremy Lin contributed 18 points and 11 assists for the Lakers, who blew an eight-point lead with five minutes remaining and lost their fourth in a row to fall to 3-13. Nick Youngs reverse jam gave LA a 115-107 lead with 5:03 left, but the Timberwolves eventually moved to a 119-117 lead on Thaddeus Youngs turnaround bank hook shot with a minute to go. That go-ahead sshot came 15 seconds after Bryant missed a pair of foul shots. Rick Sutcliffe Indians Jersey. Johnson then missed a potential 3-point shot, but Williams couldnt get a short jumper to fall at the other end. Bryant pump-faked before sinking a jumper from the right side of the lane with 5.6 seconds left to tie the game at 119. Thaddeus Young then drove to the basket before being fouled by Nick Young. The second free-throw was made, and the Lakers attempt to win the game went awry when Bryant popped free for an open look from the top of the key, but the 3- point attempt hit off the rim and backboard. Williams scored 11 in the opening quarter, but Bryant countered with 12 to give his team a 30-23 edge after 12 minutes. LaVine went 7-of-8 from the field for 18 points in the second, but LA was in front, 58-54, at the half. The hosts were ahead, 96-93, going to the fourth. Game Notes The Timberwolves, who had lost 14 of their previous 15 to the Lakers at Staples Center, shot 57 percent from the field ... Corey Brewer had 13 points and eight assists for Minnesota ... Carlos Boozer scored 15 points, one less than Nick Young ... Minnesota got its first win (1-10) when allowing 100 or more points. ' ' '
